On April 3rd Erica Feldman, a Career Resource Specialist in our Wheaton, Maryland market, was awarded a Success-at-Work Award during a team meeting. She was nominated for the award by her Director, Salsi Mane. In her nomination Salsi wrote this as part of her nomination of Erica:

"Erica is the one who carved out the famous Key Holder position here in Maryland. Because of her ability and interest in thinking outside the box, we now have 3 SEP clients working as key holders in a car dealership facility. After making her first Key Holder placement, Erica was facing several challenges working with her client who was about to lose his job. Instead, not only did Erica save her client's job, but divided the placement into two shifts where two clients can still work 5 days per week while supporting one another. Now that her clients are working independently, Erica introduced one of her team members who also made a third placement with the confidence they had with WOU because of the great rapport they had with Erica"

In making the presentation Steve Wood presented Erica a certificate which read:

"Work Opportunities Unlimited honors Erica Feldman for demonstrating all the core values, but especially "we build successful, reciprocal relationships." Erica's helpful and patient personal style has helped many clients. Of special note is her creative carve-out of the "key holder" position and her relationships with VR. Erica's positive attitude and helpfulness make her a great teammate and a Success at Work!"

The "Success-at-Work" award, which began in 2000, periodically honors and recognizes team members who have delivered outstanding service to our clients consistent with the Company's core values.
